Distilled at Miltonduff in June of 1984, this was aged for 27 years in cask 10015 before bottling by Duncan Taylor for their Rare Auld range in August 2011. A release of 227 numbered, cask strength bottles.
Nose: Rich, spiced aromas with beeswax, orange and cereals. Fresh flowers too.
Palate: Banana sweets and custard, with caramel, honey, wood shavings and pollen. Chamomile tea develops.
Finish: Long finish with toasted brioche and spice.
